Will Video Finish Uploading to Youtube if Close Out
- #ane
Hey all, so one affair I run into a lot is people (mainly new to YouTube) proverb that in that location videos take forever to upload and process, and then they're sat there waiting for it to finish before they tin shutdown do other things. So I thought I would make this post to inform those who think this way.
When y'all start uploading, the video is being sent to the YouTubes servers and your computer (or other device if you're using a tablet or phone) will demand to be turned on and continued to the internet during this time but one time the video starts processing in that location is no longer any data for that video going from your calculator to the servers meaning you're free to close down the computer or even just close the tab and movement onto other things.
So basically in one case you see this....
...you tin close everything downwards and move on with your twenty-four hours, there is no need to look for the processing bar to compete.
NOTE: It has been suggested to await till the processing is at at least ane% earlier closing annihilation, personally not experienced any upshot endmost before 1% just for condom with your ain videos it may be worth that few seconds of extra wait fourth dimension.
When I upload my routine is as follows, I beginning the upload and enter all the relevant information (tags, description, championship), I then upload the thumbnail that I've made for that video, fix the ads up if I desire ads on the video so printing Save Changes, at present this is done and looks a bit like this:
At present its just a case of waiting for the video to finish uploading and once it is I tin shut downwards the PC or shut the tab.
I hope this helps someone out, as I say, I've seen a lot of channels (not just new ones) waiting for videos to finish processing before they shut the PC down or shut the tab.
TTYL, Peace Out and Bye Cheerio....Toodles

Sometimes I close the browser within a second as the video is uploaded, so the processing takes forever, until I reupload once more, and it will commencement processing directly. Try to re upload and don't shut the browser until the processing has started at to the lowest degree 1%.

I've never feel any problems myself with closing the browser earlier 1% but just in case others do i've edited the mail to reflect your experiences.
Give thanks you for the input.

A surprising corporeality of people dont know, I take a friend who's got over 100,00 subs and only recently I find out he was still waiting for the processing to terminate before closing things, so its non just noobs that practice it
I just found out nigh it myself when I was uploading a video and my power went out at the processing point effectually 45%, after going to the shops to top-up my electrical meter and coming back I was surprised to see the video had finished processing and then I started running tests to run across when closing the tab it didn't matter anymore.
